Wirehouse Employer Services Free tools for UK employers

Three tools that turn advice into enquiries

Each one answers a question a UK employer is already searching for, gives a real answer, and then hands them to Wirehouse at the exact moment they realise they need help.

Statutory redundancy pay

What you are legally required to pay. Most employers get the age bands wrong.

Age 43
11 years
Why the age bands matter. Service is paid at half a week per year under 22, one week per year from 22 to 40, and one and a half weeks per year from 41. The same employee can be owed very different amounts depending on which birthdays fell during their service, and this is one of the most common payroll errors we see.
Statutory redundancy due
£0
Statutory minimum only. Contractual or enhanced schemes, notice pay and untaken holiday sit on top.

For context, the median unfair dismissal award was £6,746 and the mean £13,749 across 646 awards (MoJ, 2023/24, provisional). Most claims settle or are withdrawn rather than reaching an award.
